Course Description: This is our most challenging course. Without any single hill being overwhelming on its own, the sum of its parts is what makes it challenging. This is not a course for a first time trail runner that isn’t interested in a challenge. The half marathon includes the most scenic viewpoints from all the races. In addition, it has the most technical downhill portion of any of the races. The course has a lot of single track, a lot of switchbacks, and prepares the beginner trail runner for any trail or terrain out there.

Aid Stations: There will be six aid stations on the course. They will be stocked with water and friendly volunteers. Aid stations are located at the following miles: 1.1, 2.5, 6.3, 8.5, 10, 12.4. There is a porta-potty located at the mile 6.3 and 8.5 aid stations.

Course Cutoffs: There is a 4:15 time limit for the half marathon. There are two cutoff points on the course. Aid station 3 (mile 6.3) has a cutoff time of 10:05am. Aid station 4 (mile 8.5) has a cutoff of 10:55am. If you reach either of these aid stations after this time, you will not be allowed to continue and will be transported back to the start line. This is for the safety of our participants.
